Since 1978, Jameson has been a trusted leader in contract furniture and bespoke soft furnishings for commercial interiors.

Based in the heart of the West Midlands, our 40,000 sq. ft. facility houses our manufacturing factory, warehouse, and offices, enabling us to deliver high-quality, British-made furniture with precision, skill, and dedication.

We are proud members of Made in Britain and one of the longest-standing members of Commercial Interiors UK (CIUK). We dedicate ourselves to high standards of craftsmanship, quality, and customer service.

Meet The Team

Our Story

Currently led by our all-female ownership team: Jackie, Lindsey, and Rachel and with roots dating back to 1978, we have built a reputation for quality furniture, soft furnishings and exceptional service.

What began as a small family-led workshop has grown into a trusted name in contract furniture and soft furnishings for hospitality across the UK.

1978

Jameson established by Kenneth Jameson Fendick in a shop in Grove Lane Harborne, Birmingham. As the company grew so a series of moves were taken as more space was required always staying within the West Midlands.

1985

In 1985 we bought our first factory in Sherborne St, Birmingham, retaining the Grove Lane premises as the offices only.

1991

In an attempt to create space, the Curtain Division and Offices moved to separate premises, firstly, in 1991, to Parliament Street in Small Heath.

1993

Later in 1993, they moved to larger Allcock St, closing Grove Lane completely. At this time, Ken’s son, Paul, takes over the running of the business.

Jameson moves to a much larger factory over 3 floors in Cheapside in Digbeth Birmingham bringing everything together under the same roof .

2006

Over the years, Cheapside was also expanded: the Flower Warehouse opposite was acquired and became the woodshop, an adjoining unit was purchased to allow for expansion, a mezzanine floor was built to create storage space and a separate spray shop was added.

Paul Jameson Fendick retires, leaving the company in the hands of its management – Jackie Lea, Rachel Slater, and Lindsey Appleby.

Factory moves to a new 40,000 sq foot location in West Bromwich.

We joined Made in Britain as they are a non profit organisation that brings together the British manufacturing community.

We went through a rigorous process to prove we manufacture high quality products. The Made in Britain marks are protected and can only be used under license as a member.

CIUK

Commercial Interiors UK is the UK’s business association for the contract furnishing industry. Jameson is the 2nd oldest member of CIUK, having joined in 1985.

CIUK represents the commercial interiors sector with 200+ members, promoting top UK interior design, product innovation, and sustainable manufacturing.

CIUK membership ensures companies meet accreditation standards, operate with integrity, and uphold a strong professional reputation.
