The Griffin Inn Swithland is a characterful country pub owned by cricketers Stuart Broad and Harry Gurney. We were delighted to work alongside designers to supply contract furniture and soft furnishings that bring together traditional charm and modern comfort.
As part of this project, we created cosy tub chairs and classic wingback armchairs for snug corners, adding warmth and a welcoming feel. In the dining areas, bentwood-style chairs and upholstered side chairs provide a contemporary yet inviting experience, while rustic pine-topped tables with traditional bases reinforce the country-inspired character.
To complete the look, our soft furnishings team designed and installed bespoke curtains. These add privacy, texture, and warmth, complementing the furniture beautifully. The fabrics and finishes were chosen to highlight natural wood tones, soft colours, and tactile textures that sit comfortably within the inn’s rustic setting.
The result is a warm and inviting pub where guests can relax with a drink, enjoy a meal, or unwind by the fire.
